City Elections Empty City Elections

with the coucil election so close i do not understand why sheley did not even bother showing up to the chamber
of commerce cand's meeting last night.

he waited until the final hour to even subject his intent to re-run and not showing up at all last night according to the paper is really showing he does not even care anymore.

I was unaware of the meeting until after it was over.

I liked Renteria's ideas for District 1 and Carmen Torres over non-present Scott Sheley.

I think we'll see all new council persons in the spots that are up for election this time around.
The red light issues adn the Texas Avenue spending being the hot topic reasons.

Brandon Capetillo stated Monday night that he would allow a vote of the people on the red light cameras. My question to Brandon is Why did you not bring a motion for the council to vote to allow it on the ballot instead of fighting the petition that was presented???

I liked Renteria's ideas for District 1

He's doing a bang-up job with West Little League. Get that guy back on city council.
